Queen Collective on Hulu: 3 Part promo tease
PRODUCTION: leroy & clarkson
~ The Queen Collective is an ambitious initiative started by Queen Latifah, P&G, and Tribeca Films to help young female film directors of color get their films made and distributed. In its’ first year, TQC helped produce 2 documentary films which then found distribution thru HULU. These promos were designed to tease the eventual film releases in 3 parts; the problem, the solution, and the result. This was a particularly rewarding editorial project for me as I was tasked with not only the edit, but also the development of the script along with L&C’s creative team of Kate Hillis & Mark Valentine from hours of transcripts. If There Is Light and Ballet After Dark (the two winning documentaries), can now be seen on HULU

olay “face anything”
PRODUCTION: leroy & clarkson
~ This :60 promo was developed in collaboration with The Queen Collective’s first pair of documentary films. It features the 4 film makers (2 directors and their producers) speaking to their roles and strengths as up and coming female creatives. This piece, like the 3 part tease for the TQC, was very gratifying in that again, along with L&C creatives, I co-scripted the piece from many broad interviews with the film makers.

Adobe max’21 - Busby & roskell
PRODUCTION: pretty damn sweet
~ The 2020 Pandemic brought all social gatherings to a halt. Adobe Max Summit is convention bringing together Creatives of all types. So Adobe reacted by holding a virtual event with many produced featurettes of their talent. Pretty Damn Sweet brought together a team of editors and set us to it. We all had to comb the hours of interview footage, transcripts and accompanying b-roll, ads, and artwork and bring about a cohesive story. The key to Sandra and Tara’s story was to capture how approachable, funny and committed they are to reaching their fans . . . . TRT 9 minutes. Enjoy!

Adobe max’21 - Laura jordan bambach
PRODUCTION: pretty damn sweet
~ This was a second piece I did for the Adobe Max Summit of 2021. Again, Pretty Damn Sweet tasked me with an even bigger challenge on this one, a multi-head of one of the traditional kingpins of the ad world, Grey, in London. This is a longer piece where Laura covers many aspects of what the lockdown changed in the creative processes. She then shares insight into a number of her favorite pieces Grey created during the pandemic. Laura is a whirlwind. This is a long one, but very engaging . . . TRT 20 minutes. Enjoy!
